another photoshoot today, this time it's for the norwegian mag "NO" i´m wearing stalla macartney and the photographer is really good His name is marcel lelienhof.
i'm giving away my clothes to all my girlfriends today:) i have to realize that i haven't worn them for years! And it's a good excuse to have a party:)
it's oslo-fashion week and so yesterday we went to a friend of ours "miniature-sunglasses collection" basically they're little and totally cool necklace's that are glasses. My boyfriend modelled for the line, among many professional models ...... just as a friend-favour and it turned out really beautiful! I have to say i was very proud of him. Anyway the lady in the picture is non other than hanneli mustaparta, norway's nicest and most beautiful model and she was nice enough to let me take a pic of us together. M
the photoshoot went well, thank god! I'm back home now and enjoying it! M
how funny is this? I'm actually trying to open my eye as wide as i can! I just woke up (to run...... I'm still in amsterdam) and my eye is worse! And you know what's really hilarious? I have a photoshoot in two hours! The shops open at nine here so i'm gonna get some sunglasses and he will have to shoot my profile only! No way do i want to be reminded of this in the future just by picking up a magazine! M
had a full day of promotion in amsterdam today, or, they tell me we're in amsterdam but i've only really seen the hotel. I did 14 interviews and got to meet the fanclub-boys again(picture) and it actually felt like seeing old friends again. I have a day of promotion tomorrow again and then i go to oslo. I have the week off and i actually haven't seen my boyfriend in a long time so i have a lot of catching up to do:)
Kp3 photoshoot for "mag" today...... Did one for costume yesterday but forgot to take blog-pics:( i'm going to be at øya festival later today to see n.e.r.d. Play:) i've been so busy lately that it's gonna be good to have a day off..... I'm going to amsterdam on sunday! M
guess what? I'm in munich today:) i forgot to tell you, and it's the first time i've travelled completely alone on promo so i was a little anxious this morning..... It's turned out great though! After getting to the hotel and running for 60 minutes(i haven't had a run in a few days and i wanted to make up for lost days, and i have a habit of requesting a fitness area if i'm travelling...... It keeps me sane! ) i'm now sitting in a "beergarten" , reading my very funny and sarcastic book called "the cocka hola company" and just ordered a glas of prosecco:) life's good! Tomorrow and tuesday is reserved for longlead-promo..... That means magazines and media coming out in september when the album is being released! Peace.
i look crazy in this pic but never mind. I wanted (in my own words) to reply some of your comments and tell you about some of the new songs.
i don´ty really listen to music.... i don´t know the real reason for that but i think it has something to do with the fact that i rarely am able to relax if there´s music playing ... i imediately start "working" in my mind.. i guess that when you`re sorrounded by something all day you don´t look for it om´n your days off;) plus there´s music in my head all the time and so i don´t worry about not being inspired anymore.
i have to be honest with you... i´m a little worried about people´s reaction to the lyrics on cause and effect... as usual the chosen singles don´t really reflect(lyrically) what´s on the rest of the record.
i decided to write down eveything i´ve ever kept secret or just been too afraid to talk about..... and although i love that you like my music i don´t write it with you people in mind.... i write it for myself.. as therapy, so i am really scared this time, scared that i´ve gone too far! i´m just writing this to get it off my chest;)
please, when u get the album.. know that this is just my side of the story!!!!!! i really love all of you! .m ps. I´M REALLY PROUD OF THE RECORD!
ok, first someonene implied that i have tori Amos' entire collection at home, then imogen heap?
.....:) what ever happend to people to saying ALANIS MORISETTE??????..... To be honest i don't own one tori Amos album and i have no link to imogen but i looked her up today and all i can say is thank you! What a compliment:) i don't really listen to music other than when i run, and that's only robyn and Kanye west:) everything else comes out of my imagination. Peace! Ps. Try not to over-analyze music! It ruins a lot of the fun and magic. M
i will try to explain this one; norway´s current cultural-minister(trond giske) has been getting a hard time in the media lately for liking the spotlight and hanging around celebrities a little too much (especially mira craig) and the boys in the picture, a "comedic duo" called bye and rønning decided to mock a norwegian rap song(by carpe diem) -and trond giske by making a song about a lot of norwegian "celebs"...... that´s all fine and dandy but the headline reads: "between maria mena`s legs now" wich implies that giske is between my legs.... i really HATE HEADLINES like this!!!! because there are people out there who won´t bother to read the rest of the story!!!!!!! fu#$&%!!!!! this has happend to me before and i really think it´s unesscesary ok, i get that this is humor or some form of flattery, ...... And i sorta know the guys so they're forgiven, But did DAGBLADET.NO have to use my name in the headline? Especially in a sentence like that? Now i can't get that disturbing picture out of my head! Yuck!
